Quietivity uses FSC paper throughout its journal collection, which means that the paper used in its notebooks is harvested sustainably.
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®) is an international non-governmental organisation established in 1994 to promote responsible forest management.
The FSC Chain of Custody (CoC) tracks the path taken by products from the forest or recycled materials, from the point of reclamation to the point of sale, with an FSC claim and/or FSC labelling. The CoC encompasses every stage, from sourcing to processing, trading, and distribution, with each stage involving a change of product ownership.
FSC® certification of these management systems is intended to provide credible assurance that products sold with an FSC claim come from well-managed forests, controlled sources, reclaimed materials, or a combination of the three. FSC CoC certification facilitates the transparent flow of goods from such materials through the supply chain.
